OK so in my travels around the grid, seeing good subject matter to post on What The Fug? I have been seeing the same corset a few times recently. It’s very nicely done and the textures are wonderful, and of course it’s mostly prim, so takes some time to fit. Of course this awesomeness comes from The Abyss. It’s not cheap at $400L but The Abyss isn’t known for being a budget-shopping kind of place. I fell in love with it, and it’s such a classic goth look I wanted to put together that kind of ensemble.

This is the kind of thing lil’ gloomy girls used to wear at the club (holla at The Wreck Room, y’all, and Skanktuary Sanctuary too!)

Because I am a huge dork, when I go on themed hunts I like to dress the part. So before seting off on the Steampunk hunt I had to put an ensemble together.

Going with a general idea of brown, leather and metal accents, I also wanted to keep it kind of cute and girly. A perfect time to use my Kitheres boots which are really some of the very nicest boots in my inventory, in terms of quality of texturing and sculptwork, add to that the fact that they’re colorable for practically every part, they’re pretty amazing. League is doing some wonderful texturing of their own and I’ve chosen to layer their Bella dress, clothes that come on all layers are my best friends. Keeping it modest using some MichaMi pants as leggings, and properly cute and appropriately metallic and girly accessories. Ready for flying in airships, exploring clockwork contraptions and teatime.
