Kami-no-aisuru

Achariya has thrown out another blogger challenge, and this one is interesting to me because sometimes I’m in a clothing rut. My favorite designers/stores probably don’t add up to more than a dozen, and I am almost always in a poofy dress of some kind. When I entered SL I was intent on using my avatar to explore Japanese fashion, thats a big part of how I dress. I actually told myself I was restricted to gothic & lolita dresses, kimono, anything that could loosely be called “harajuku” style or more nebulous styles like trendy, label conscious “gal” wear. I can honestly say that almost everything in my wardrobe fits into one of these styles. But I bet theres a lot of cool clothes from good designers that might look good on me but I’ve never heard of them or never given them a chance.

AND I happen to have a circle of friends who are some of the most stylish and informed avatars out there so please assist me in a style shake up! What designer do I just have to know? What dress is not-to-be-missed? Think of designers/shops/pieces/ensembles that you think would be good for me and post in the comments who/where and why. I’ll be exploring the options and posting in the next few weeks with people’s suggestions (yeah this is kind of begging for comments, thats kind of the point). I’m looking forward to some really good ideas from y’all because you all know your stuff.
