Yes, another photo challenge! This time the gauntlet was thrown down by Winter Jefferson and he wants all of us to show some love for Bare Rose. Well it’s no secret that I freakin’ love B@R and I’ve blogged about it before. I love shopping there for the variety, quality and prices, even though it’s a huge confusing and laggy mess. It’s drawbacks are endearing somehow. I also attend their events sometimes, specifically the EGL dances and they’re always a good time that brings a loyal portion of the SL lolita community out. I love that you can get pretty much any style at B@R, from business to formal, Mecha to Neko and everything in between. I hope to showcase a little of what they have available, from my own collection. Anyway, on to the picture whoring!

Using B@R stuff to enhance other outfits: this amazing avatar by Winter Ventura from Eclectic Randomness, given a girly touch with just the skirt from the B@R Alumigirl outfit. Matches perfectly and adds so much to an already awesome avatar.

Bottom line is, if you don’t already shop at Bare Rose, you should be! Hundreds of looks for ladies and for men! I know you guys complain about decent men’s clothes, you should be shopping at Bare Rose! No, you don’t have to be a samurai, they have some nice suits and things like trenchcoats for stylish, classy gentlemen. Almost everything comes in 2-4 different colors per set, you can get 4 complete ensembles for under 200L.

Do yourself a favor and check them out, and if you go to the store and find it daunting, or difficult to rez, or laggy as hell, keep in mind that you can shop for outfits at either neighboring sim too, both the Black Cat and White Wolf sims have selections of B@R clothes as well as clubs, hangout spots and such. White Wolf has a sandbox for group members, as well as a very cute Japanese style maid-cafe. Black Cat has the Haute Couture shop and a couple of nice clubs as well as a great jungle/beach hangout spot.

If you’d like to check them out online, the best place to do that is their database. Easy to browse for and search for specific outfits and then it gives you a SLurl to find it in the shop. Still may take a bit of looking around but B@R stuff is so worth the time.
